For the last 25 years Interactual has been taking risk out of product design development across many market sectors, guiding design teams in the use of prototyping strategies and technologies to achieve faster and more efficient design iteration resulting both in optimal solutions to user need and lower development costs. More recently, Interactual has extended its role into production implementation. A robust risk managed process is fundamental to the successful transition from design realisation to commercially successful product. In his previous roles both as Production Director at IDC and Head of the Development Centre at PDD, the MD of Interactual, Ben May has been instrumental in achieving ISO 9001 and 13485 accreditations and embedding a culture that recognises that a quality process results in a quality product. Interactual has a particular focus on Design for Reliability (DfR) and product ruggedness and last year Ben May undertook the Network Rail training programme for NR/L2/RSE/0005, Network Rail's own standard for DfR.
