Welcome to the Future of the Rail Alliance
BCRRE Rail Alliance
In 2018 we announced that a memorandum of understanding had been signed with the Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education (BCRRE) which would see our organisations working more closely together. On the 11th of March 2019, we launched the new look Rail Alliance. This will see a continuation of the support and business acumen you have come to expect over the last ten years, bolstered by the global academic reach of the BCRRE. We will create the largest community in Rail and offer complete supply chain solutions from fledgling ideas right through to commercialisation.
What is the BCRRE?
BCRRE is the largest university-based centre for railway research and education in Europe, developing world-leading new technologies alongside renowned higher education programmes. The BCRRE (birmingham.ac.uk/railway) is part of the UK Rail Research Innovation Network (UKRRIN) and leads the Centre of Excellence in Digital Systems. In 2018, we joined forces with BCRRE to combine resources and expertise and further strengthen our offer to the industry as a whole.
