Telford International Railfreight Park Launch Event
8.00am – 10.00am Ironbridge Gorge Enginuity Museum, Coalbrookdale
You are invited to attend the launch event for the Telford International Railfreight Park to be held between 08.00am - 10.00am on Tesday 9th September. The event will take place at the Ironbridge Gorge Enginuity Museum, Coach Road, Coalbrookdale, TF8 7DQ.
A hot breakfast of bacon rolls, croissants with tea and coffee or juice will be available from 08.00am. This will be followed by presentations from 08.30am on UK rail freight, Telford International Railfreight Park and the freight services to be provided, along with the sites available for development within the Park.
There will be an opportunity for networking at the end of the event.
The Donnington International Railfreight Park will be completed by the end of the year and is expected to be fully operational by Spring 2009. The Telford Railfreight Project aims to support employment and economic growth within Telford and the region along with associated environmental benefits. This project has been part-funded by Advantage West Midlands and the European Regional Development Fund.
