Rail Alliance Member Aquarius Rail, promotes Abi Broadley to Managing Director

Aquarius Rail is delighted to announce the promotion of Abi Broadley to Managing Director of the company. Having started with the company in 2010 she has helped shape and drive the company forwards and has been heavily involved in helping the company pass Network Rail’s On-Track Plant Operations Scheme. The POS scheme denotes that a company has sufficient and suitable management system/s in accordance with the POS Rules to act as an OTP Operations Scheme provider engaged in contracts directly with Network Rail (NR) or as a sub-contractor for a Principal Contractor (PC) on Network Rail Managed Infrastructure. This is a wonderful achievement for the company and this accreditation teamed with Abi’s new position is testament to Aquarius Rail and its commitment to quality, customer care and continual improvement.

Abi is an active member of the Rail Supply Group’s SME council and will be representing the rail sector next week’s Oktoberfest run by CDEMN and Business Durham as a key participant in the show’s lunch panel. The panel will comprise leading business people and industry experts from across the region who will gather to answer questions from the audience and give invaluable insights into the future of the North East’s engineering and manufacturing sectors.
