Learning, Teaching and Assessment
MBA Programme - University of Worcester
The course features a significant amount of group work and case study analysis. Assessments will focus on professional projects, reports and presentations on relevant areas of leadership and management.
You will be expected to study for a significant amount of time outside of normal contact sessions using on-line learning materials and associated texts etc. It is suggested that each module will involve 4 days of contact time (delivered over an approximate four-month period). This will need to be supplemented with (on average) a day per week of private study to work through the material and to complete the associated assessment. All assignments will be based upon issues and challenges facing your organisation and sector.
The MBA is usually completed over three years (part time) but can be completed in less time, depending upon your availability and other commitments.
Completion of the first three modules of your MBA will allow you to exit with a PG. Certificate in Management Studies. Six modules would allow you to exit with a PG. Diploma in Management Studies. Completion of all nine modules would mean that you have successfully achieved the MBA!
