The fair intends to bring together the government bodies and private sector for rolling stock, light rail, infrastructure technology and railway logistics. During the exhibition, there will be conference and seminar programs with the participation of professional speakers related with the sector. Turkish Ministry of Transport and Communications has provided 50 billion Euros in the following 12 years to improve high speed train lines and to construct new lines in order to transfer freight and passenger transportation from highways to railway. One of the objectives of EURASIARAIL Fair is to look for opportunities in terms of achieving the most effective use of this allocated budget. The event is open to professionals only.

 

In 2011, EURASIARAIL hosted a total number of 4,145 visitors of whom 1,347 were international from 25 different countries. Besides, the fair hosted 117 exhibitor companies at an area of 8,750 m2. The main categories of the 2011 exhibition were: Railway Technology, Interiors, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Heavy Industries, Transport IT, Freight Traffic Logistics, Services, Services, and Financial Services.
