| IMechE Seminar - Fleet Reliability - 6 October 2010 at 1 Birdcage Walk London SW1H 9JJ Posted: 27 July 2010 Source: Institute of Mechanical Engineers (Rail Sector) Overview To meet customer demands, the rail sector is driving partnerships and collaborative projects to deliver fleet reliability. The seminar will focus on Case Studies and Workshops which will set out the challenge and benefits of delivering reliability through building sustainable relationships amongst rail sector partners. This event is supported, and co-sponsored by, the Rail Alliance. Rail Alliance members can take advantage of this joint venture witht he IMechE by attending this event for the same cost as IMechE members, This is an opportunity to take away ideas and improvements which will help you deliver benefits for today and tomorrow within your own company. You will gain an understanding of how the rail sector managers, responsible for delivering performance, are collaborating to improve the reliability of trains and the railway (what works well, what doesn’t work so well). You will also get an overview of activities since the last fleet reliability conference and have an opportunity to contribute to the agenda for 2011. In particular, the seminar will provide an opportunity for you to share your experiences and concerns amongst rail sector colleagues. This is a cross sector seminar with a focus on collaborative relationships driving solutions to achieve reliable rolling stock and a reliable railway. The seminar is open to everyone who is involved in or has an influence on fleet performance and will gain a benefit from working together.
