Millennium Pressed Metal Ltd was incorporated in 2003, but has an established pedigree in the presswork industry. Managing Director Anna Stevenson manages the business on a day-to-day basis. Anna is supported by fellow Directors Josie Stevenson and Robert Crow. Josie and Bob have run a successful press repair company for the last 15 years. Having literally grown up surrounded by presswork equipment, Anna can justifiably claim to have presswork ‘in her blood’!

Millennium Pressed Metal Ltd was incorporated in 2003, but has an established pedigree in the presswork industry. Managing Director Anna Stevenson manages the business on a day-to-day basis. Anna is supported by fellow Directors Josie Stevenson and Robert Crow. Josie and Bob have run a successful press repair company for the last 15 years. Anna recently won the Black Country Chamber and Business Link Young Entrepreneur of 2004 award.
The idea of establishing a capacity relief service to other presswork companies experiencing sudden increases in demand, or loss of production due to machine failure has certainly caught the imagination of presswork operations in the West Midlands.
Demand for Millennium’s services has grown quickly. Millennium now provides a service to handle those low volume, running jobs that presswork companies don’t want to handle in-house.
Millennium’s customers come from many different market sectors including Automotive, Construction, and Consumer industries.
Millennium employs twelve people and Anna is supported by three key members of staff:
John Fisher – Press Shop Manager
John runs the press shop and has 25 years experience in the presswork industry. John also has an involvement in production planning and overseas quality disciplines.
Bill Pitt – Power Press Setter
Bill is John’s right hand man in terms of setting the presses and is also involved in shop loading decisions. Bill has spent 30 years working in a presswork environment as a tool setter and has a vast amount of knowledge on all aspects of presswork.
Maureen Rose – Administration and Accounts
Maureen runs the office and is often the first point of contact for customers at Millennium. All paperwork is handled by Maureen, including dispatch notes and invoicing. Maureen also looks after the accounts using Sage to maintain bookkeeping systems and generate reports.
