Vision

The Rail Alliance is the natural place to do business. It has a membership base that spans all aspects of the railway and supporting industries, both in terms of current involvement and aspirations. It is a unique blend of suppliers and customers, Public and private sector, all united in the common goal of trading and working with each other. It provides impartial information and advice, and signposts members to the wide range of assistance that is available. It provides it’s members with an extra advantage.

To provide a forum where members can network, collaborate, innovate and thrive in order to maintain and grow the prosperity and sustainability of their business.

Strategic Intent

To build a strong and sustainable organisation. The Rail Alliance will be owned by its membership and governed by them. It will react to the changing nature of the marketplace. In particular we will:

Provide regular networking opportunities for our members.
Advertise and promote our members services and capabilities through our web-site, newsletter and events program.
Promote the region internationally and support our members attendance at international events and missions.
Develop an education and training program to assist the development of our people and to encourage the participation of new entrants.
Develop relationships between the research and technology community and industry to promote best practice and innovation.
Be a world class organisation in all respects
